After working some years and watching some of my designer friends get involved in the world of digital art, I decided that I wanted to learn how to use a computer to create great images. So I started taking some classes and have learned some new skills. I am now tackling web design and would like to learn about computer animation…all very much fun!

Food Magazine Illustration
This is a hand-drawn illustration which I created with colored pencils as part of a graphic arts assignment to develop and image for a food magazine. I chose to illustrate gingerbread cookies for a seasonal issue. I did all the illustration and created a layout in InDesign.

Restaurant Placemat Project
This project was part of a graphic design class to create a placemat design for a restaurant of choice. I chose a Mexican-themed restaurant and designed a placemat for children. I also created a restaurant logo and a avocado character to appeal to children.
